The 65th annual Longford Association in London dinner and dance took place at the Clayton Crown hotel in Cricklewood, North West London on Saturday 8th February 2020.
Over 260 guests were in attendance, including a number who travelled to London from Longford. Among the guests were Irish Ambassador to Britain Adrian O'Neill and his wife Aisling, Cllr Seamus Butler, Chairman of Longford Municipal District, Cllr Ger Farrell, Vice Chair of Longford County Council and Paddy Mahon, CEO of Longford County Council.
Also present was Albert Cooney, Chairperson of Longford GAA, who brought along the O'Byrne Cup, which was won by the Longford senior football team in January.
The Ryan Lavelle school of Irish dancing provided the pre-dinner entertainment and Longford's very own Declan Nerney and his band had the large attendance on the dance floor until the early hours.
The night was a great success and enjoyed by all.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported The Association.
